A delightfully zingy cross between two species heavyweights, this one punches incredibly hard in terms of both flavour and heat, I would thoroughly recommend growing this to all!
The plant's growth habit favours the baccatum form, with tall spindly plants forming a large canopy. Stems are rather thick and resistant to bending, thus more susceptible to breakage, as mine have two years in a row. Extra support recommended.
The flavour is nothing short of amazing, it's very sweet right off the bat, and as the sweetness fades, the heat comes in hot! Very reminiscent of the Lemon Drop in flavour, but the texture and heat profile is more of the Dorset Naga.
This is a cross between the Dorset Naga and Lemon Drop, an interspecific hybrid of C. baccatum and C. chinense.
