A popular heirloom from Italy, grown frequently in Chicago, IL.
This pepper has an incredible flavour, with hints of red grape, you'll soon forget that you're actually eating a pepper at all! One of my personal favourite sweet annuums; I grew this one myself in 2023 but these seeds are from Phish's 2022 grow stock.
The plant itself has a fairly typical growth habit for a Capsicum annuum, tending to be rather tall and supporting a lot of peppers with ease. I would certainly recommend caging these plants, they can be very prolific.
