The Grenada Seasoning pepper originates from the Caribbean island of Grenada. This is a staple pepper for the people of Grenada, being used mostly to add flavour to dishes without the intense spiciness from other Caribbean cultivars.
The flavour of this pepper is excellent, with that traditional fruitiness you expect from a Scotch Bonnet alongside citrusy tones, this one will add tons of flavour to any dish it's used in. I have used it for jam, but I expect it would be a great filler pepper for hot sauce!
The growth habit of this plant is very typical for Capsicum chinense. Seeds for this variety come from PhishIsMyChurch's 2022 grow.
