This particular cultivar's origins are unknown, possibly a commercial hybrid using genetics from heirloom paprikas. Paprikas originate mainly from Hungary or Spain, introduced in the 15th century.
The flavour of this pepper was very interesting - the walls were thick and incredibly juicy, but when eaten raw, it really didn't taste of much. It was like eating some sweet water - a very strange experience.
The growth habit of the plant was fairly normal, but I could tell that the plant was able to support a great weight of pods. I grew this cultivar in 2023 but these seeds are directly from Phish's 2022 grow.
