An extremely scorching hot chilli originating from Trinidad with its roots in the 7 Pot cultivars, you won't need to add much of this pepper to liven up any dish!
The plant growth habit is unusual for a chinense, mine was sprawling out sideways instead of producing an even canopy. Its genetics seemed to be fairly strong as I was able to get a moderate harvest in the UK, producing over 50g of powder!
The flavour is supposedly smokey, earthy, and extremely hot. I haven't brought myself to try one of these yet due to being intimidated by its advertised SHU.
This pepper originates from Trinidad grower Sara R. - allegedly a cross between 7 Pot and a Chocolate Habanero, although this has not been confirmed.
