A lovely sweet pepper from the c. Baccatum species, very kindly sent to me by the excellent UK based chilli grower CosmosChillies.
This one is definitely a must-grow, the peppers are so sweet and syrupy, and the flavour is excellent, not too strong.
The plants grow quite tall but have no problem with pushing out many pods, even on such a small plant. These are very decorative and definitely grown for eating raw as a primary use, but many people enjoy dehydrating them or candying them.
As a bonus, these were grown from Sugar Rush Stripey seeds, but they turned red! So it is possible that some of you may get stripes on growing out these seeds.
