A spicy red, elongated chilli of the c. Frutescens species originating from South Africa. Also known as the African Bird's Eye chilli.
The plant favours a rather tall stem, but quickly forms a neat and even canopy. Pods point upwards for the most part, and ripen to red after just over a month.
The seeds are easy to germinate and most growers will have no problem getting a plant to maturity quite quickly.
The pods pack quite a punch and they are awesome dried!
Seeds are open pollinated but are most likely isolated as they were grown indoors.
