Hello everyone, thanks for reading what I'm sure will be a very exciting update on what's coming in 2026 for Isotope Chillies fans!
Firstly, I'd like to start with an update on the Variegated Sugar Rush Stripey. For a more detailed rundown, you can check the Variegated Sugar Rush Stripey Glog, but I'll give a brief overview.
I'm planning on releasing seeds in November 2026, however, this is based on a successful outdoor growing trial. Keep checking back to see how they get on!
In other news, I'm reviving the Let's Grow Hydro series on YouTube. It's been one of my best performers on my channel, so I figured that I should keep it going. This year I'll be focusing on the LetPot hydroponics system I was gifted for my birthday.
Also, I'll be starting a new series; Crossing with Isotope. It'll go over the fundamentals of crossing chillies and go into a deeper dive on some of the most popular subjects that come up.
My plans for this year are fairly straightforward. I want to grow 10 VSRPS plants outdoors, first and foremost. I'm going to be dedicating my outdoor spaces to annuums, baccatum and frutescens plants only. Chinense cultivars will remain indoors under my new Spider Farmer SF600.
In terms of my garden spaces, I've done plenty of work over winter to get them ready for the upcoming season. I've completely renovated the front garden with a new fence, woodchip growing area, and large raised bed. This will allow me to grow more vegetables and of course, more chillies.
I have quite a short list this year. This is due to focusing on quality over quantity
